OVERVIEW

This mini series offers story-driven insights that delve into some of the most interesting individuals across the Northern Territory. Produced in collaboration with Tourism Northern Territory, Qantas and Untitled Film Works, this inflight series introduces travellers across the Qantas network to several unique experiences that are available in the Red Centre. Featuring Dan Falzon of Alice Springs’ Earth Sanctuary, Chris Hill of Uluru Camel Tours, and Christine Braeden Karrke of Kings Canyon’s Karrke Aboriginal Cultural Tours.

THE FILM

‘Our Town’ Episodes were shot over the course of 3 days on location with a skeleton crew, due to the remote nature of the access.

THE LOCATION

Shooting for Episode 01 took place across the Red Centre of the Northern Territory, with the aim of inspiring viewers to visit this unique region. Made possible by Tourism NT, we worked together to establish the most compelling stories in the most breathtaking locations. From understanding indigenous history to star gazing under the dark night sky, this series showcases some of the best tourism experiences Australia has to offer.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Some of the stunning aerial shots were captured via helicopter in Kings Canyon. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to shoot during sunset which allowed for some of the most breathtaking Australian scenery we’ve captured to date. With a small and dynamic team, we were able to move around efficiently and support each other to make the most use of the small windows we had.
